Clifton-based Ezlo Innovation made its third acquisition in less than a year, expanding its product offerings to include smart thermostats, switches and sensors.
On Monday Ezlo announced it acquired Alabama-based Centralite Systems, a maker of consumer and white-labeled smart home devices.
According to Ezlo, the deal will provide customers with more choices, which will integrate with its Vera controller and camera product lines.
“We continue to strategically grow our family of brands to move the smart home market closer to a world where products just work,” said Mark Samuel, chief executive officer of Ezlo Innovation in a prepared statement. “As many brands today are reducing the number of devices with which they integrate, we’re taking the opposite approach.
“By adding Centralite to our product portfolio, we will accelerate the integration process for our customers and make it easier for them to choose which products they want to use for their smart home systems, rather than having those decisions made for them,” he added.
Ezlo – which also has offices in Ukraine, Romania and Colombia, acquired MiOS, a smart home services platform, in August 2018 and Fortrezz, an intelligent leak detection and flood prevention solutions provider, in October 2018.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
