In the spring, Jersey City recorded its highest-priced residential condominium sale. Now, that record’s been broken again.

Already a landmark at 79 stories, New Jersey’s tallest residential building, 99 Hudson in Jersey City, posted a $4.44 million sale for its largest penthouse home, Cahn Communications announced Oct. 27.

Boasting views from the 76th floor, the 2,500-square-foot east-facing residence features 655 square feet of outdoor space across two terraces, providing views of all five boroughs across the Hudson River.

The previous record was set in April, when a 75th floor penthouse at the building sold for $3.9 million.

The Marketing Directors is 99 Hudson’s exclusive marketing and sales agent.

“The recent Penthouse closings, combined with the robust sales activity we’ve achieved across the spectrum at 99 Hudson, speaks volumes about the appeal of this extraordinary residential building and the confidence buyers have in its enduring quality and value,” said The Marketing Directors President Jacqueline Urgo. “It’s a unique property in terms of height, views, lifestyle amenities, and location, and buyers are responding.”

Residences at the Perkins Eastman-designed building range up to 2,500 square feet and are priced from $548,000 to more than $4 million.

99 Hudson offers 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including an amenity deck on the building’s eighth floor that features the largest swimming pool in a residential building in Jersey City at 80 feet by 50 feet, according to Cahn Communications.
