Levin Management Corp. said Wednesday that Italian restaurant and pizzeria A Slice of Brooklyn is coming to Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton Township. A Slice of Brooklyn’s operator is an experienced restauranteur who also owns Marcello’s, a popular full-service Italian restaurant in nearby Bordentown.

The eatery committed to 2,400 square feet at the 175,500-square-foot retail property, where LMC serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent.

“This ownership has experienced tremendous success at Marcello’s and will bring that same standard of authentic Italian food and specialty pizza to A Slice of Brooklyn at Hamilton Plaza,” said LMC Senior Leasing Representative Sidney Singer, who arranged the lease. “It will be a great new addition at a time when good things are happening at this community shopping and dining destination.”

Leasing activity has been picking up at Hamilton Plaza. Notably, LMC recently announced that Hamilton Plaza’s Hallmark store is relocating and expanding within the shopping center. Norman’s Hallmark, the largest independent Hallmark Crown chain in the United States, recently purchased the Hamilton Plaza operation; in its new location, the card and specialty retail shop will occupy 7,100 square feet.

Anchored by an 81,000-square-foot ShopRite, Hamilton Plaza is situated at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 33 and Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road, Hamilton Plaza’s co-tenancy also includes A.C. Moore, Petco, Dollar Tree, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Texas Roadhouse, Moe’s Southwest Grill, America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, Hair Cuttery and Queen Bee Nail Salon. The center serves a residential population of more than 180,000 people within a five-mile radius. More than 47,000 vehicles pass the center each day.

For nearly seven decades, LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The firm today maintains a diversified, retail-focused portfolio of approximately 105 properties totaling 15 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, offering leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
