Christopher Adams has joined Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP as a partner in the firm’s litigation department.
Adams is chair of the criminal defense and regulatory compliance practice group. He concentrates his practice on criminal defense, internal investigations, attorney ethics and disciplinary proceedings, as well as complex commercial litigation.
Adams has served as counsel to high profile individuals such as professional athletes, elected officials, and candidates for public office. He has also represented political campaigns and public and private businesses in criminal investigations, administrative enforcement proceedings, and criminal prosecutions.
He has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout the country, and has appeared before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, Northern District of California, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of Illinois, District of South Dakota, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Adams has also argued matters before the New Jersey Supreme Court and Appellate Division.
He will lead Greenbaum’s criminal defense and regulatory compliance team in matters related to financial fraud, corruption, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, breaches of fiduciary duty and environmental violations.
