Cherry Hill-based Adaptive Clinical Systems, a provider of cloud-hosted services that offer interoperability and data integration with any third-party system, announced Thursday it hired Temitope Keyes as vice president of business development, as another resource to handle its growth and expansion.
Keyes brings 15 years of clinical R&D business development experience to the position, with the majority of that primarily focused on eClinical solutions and clinical data integration and analytics products. She has a passion for technology and its ability to advance important research and successful trial execution.
Most recently, with Axiom Real-Time Metrics, she worked for and partnered with the likes of ERT, Oracle, Datatrak and Synteract. Her career began with biopharmaceutical sponsors supporting global development programs at AstraZeneca and Sanofi with roles as pre-clinical purchasing manager and senior clinical outsourcing manager, respectively. She has held U.S. and global business development leadership positions at both Harrison Clinical Research (now Synteract) and Pierrel Research (now Accelovance).

Keyes – ADAPTIVE CLINICAL SYSTEMS
“Tope Keyes comes to us with deep expertise of sponsor operational demands and after long tenures with AstraZeneca and Sanofi. She will be leading Adaptive Clinical’s service extension to sponsors as vice president of Business Development,” said Sina Adibi, chief executive officer of Adaptive Clinical Systems.
According to Adibi, with the advent of virtual trials and wearables, a 360-degree view of “all” study data becomes of strategic importance for sponsors. That, coupled with the increased demand for up-to-the-minute sharing of data to promote operational efficiencies across the spectrum of study vendors – central labs, contract research organization (CRO’s), core labs and sites’ electronic health records (EHR)/electronic medical records (EMR) – the Adaptive eClinical Solution is positioned very well to deliver for sponsors.
Adaptive Clinical has enjoyed a period of rapid growth and adoption by a number of CROs and eClinical vendors alike.
“We believe that taking that service value to sponsors is a natural next step for us,” Adibi said.
Keyes said her mission has been to give innovative biopharmaceutical organizations the technology that gets them the information and intelligence they need and want.
“I am very excited to join Adaptive Clinical and be a part of bringing this leading edge clinical data integration solution to the industry as they develop drugs that are critical to patients’ survival and long-term well-being,” she said.
