The joining of the two organizations, which will operate under the Abacus Payroll Inc. brand name at the Hammonton office location, affords clients additional industry expertise, the latest payroll technology, and an expanded team of payroll professionals and resources.
Formed in 1999 as a sister company to Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors, Abacus Payroll was created to provide a way to better offer focused and accurate payroll services to the CPA firm’s accounting and tax clients. Today, Abacus has a team of four dedicated payroll specialists and is committed to prioritizing client service, ensuring clients’ employees receive paychecks on time each pay day.
Established in 2000, Payroll Express of Northfield was owned and operated by Raymond Hankinson and James Storey.
“Given the shared priority on client service and specialization in small businesses, this merger was a natural progression between two similar organizations,” said Alloy Silverstein Group Managing Shareholder Reynold Cicalese. “We’re pleased to be able to bring personalized, affordable, and reputable payroll, HR, and workforce management solutions to even more areas of Southern New Jersey.”
Services for small, medium or large businesses include payroll processing, direct deposit, pay cards, tax filing, employee self-service, timekeeping, custom reporting, pay-as-you-go workman’s compensation insurance, onboarding and applicant tracking, HR support, and more.
