The event and initiative comes as the online retailer plans to begin offering its newly announced $15 minimum wage, which will apply to all hourly associates in the company’s New Jersey-area facilities beginning Nov. 1.
Associates are eligible for benefits and access to the company’s Career Choice and Career Skills programs. The former prepays 95 percent of tuition costs for education in high-demand fields, while the latter trains hourly associates in job skills such as basic computer skills and resume writing.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
