North Jersey mega-mall American Dream will be getting a 35,000-square-foot H Mart when the property opens this fall.
The location will offer traditional Asian and international food items as well its Market Eatery concept, an Asian-inspired food hall curated with local and national chefs and food concepts, an on-site bakery, and a venue with live music, entertainment and craft cocktails.
H Mart is the largest Asian supermarket chain in America and currently has eight locations in New Jersey, but this will be the first in-state location serving up boozy beverages at its bar dubbed Let Them Talk.
We are creating a new template for the future of Asian food in America—a place to experience the best of what Asia has to offer, discover new flavors or have a taste of home.
– Stacey Kwon, president, H mart
H Mart President Stacey Kwon expects the store to become the state’s “newest food lover’s destination.”
“We are creating a new template for the future of Asian food in America—a place to experience the best of what Asia has to offer, discover new flavors or have a taste of home,” Kwon said in a statement. “We have many exciting projects in the works and are thrilled to showcase them at American Dream.”
American Dream is slated to open on Oct. 25. H Mart will also open this year, though the date has not been confirmed.
