Antares Pharma, Teva unveil needle-free injections
The Tjet system is used to administer a human growth hormone treatment.Product developer Antares Pharma Inc. (NYSE Amex: AIS), in Ewing, said Tuesday that a new needle-free injector system called Tjet was launched by the companyÂs marketing partner, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA), in Israel.
Tjet is available exclusively with Tev-Tropin, a human growth hormone product from Teva. The Tjet system is used to administer the treatment for children with growth hormone deficiency.
Antares said the domestic market for such patients is some $1 billion.
