AOSMI expands physical therapy offerings with 5 new locations

Thanks to a strategic alliance with Health Plus Management, Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI) can now serve patients in five more locations. 

AOSMI added physical therapy offices in Belmar, Brick, Edison, Manalapan and Robbinsville – all of which formerly operated under the name Advanced Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the company announced March 14. 

Including its Freehold and Monroe locations, AOSMI now operates in seven locations, according to its website.  

AOSMI’s physical therapy services include pre- and post-operative care, spine rehabilitation, injury prevention and recovery, occupational therapy, acupuncture and specialty services such as orthopedics, joint replacement, podiatry, regenerative medicine and pain management. 

Dr. Michael Greller said the partnership allows AOSMI to leverage Health Plus Management’s expertise and resources “to better serve our patients.” 

Stuart Blumberg, CEO of Health Plus, explained that the Long Island-based company functions as a “core resource for independent private practices by providing administrative operations, that allows practices to operate at their highest level.” 

Health Plus is a management service that focuses on orthopedic and musculoskeletal health care providers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
