Morristown-based workforce solutions company Artech Information Systems LLC is acquiring a Minnesota-based provider of information technology professionals, it announced recently.Artech said last week in a news release that it signed a definitive agreement to buy Tech-Pro Inc., based in Minneapolis, to expand its reach in the Midwest.
“We are extremely excited to welcome the Tech-Pro team to Artech,” Artech co-founder and CEO Ranjini Poddar said in a prepared statement. “With over 26 years of experience in the staffing industry, the Tech-Pro team is sure to have a positive impact on our clients and consultants.”
Tech-Pro will continue to operate under its current brand and with its current management team, Artech said.
“We are pleased to have an experienced management and delivery team in the Twin Cities region, and look forward to working with them to expand Artech’s regional footprint,” Artech Executive Vice President Ajay Poddar said in a statement. “We are excited about the potential to offer the Tech-Pro team’s skills and capabilities in IT solutions, staffing and (managed service provider/vendor management system) relationships to our clients.”
Artech is the state’s largest minority-owned business, according to the most recent NJBIZ list.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
