On Tuesday, Atkins Cos. along with its joint venture partner Woodmont Properties, announced restaurant leases at the Washington Square Town Center in Washington Township.
Italian specialty shop Jenaro’s signed for 4,600 square feet and Bison Coffee Co. committed to 1,800 square feet. Both restaurants are projected to open in spring 2020.
Located at 253 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, the Washington Square Town Center is redefining the traditional mixed-use concept. Developed in a joint venture partnership, the project seeks to create a dynamic mix of retail, residential, medical and community spaces geared toward the needs of cross-generational populations that are increasingly making up mixed-use communities.
“When it comes to either picking a place to meet up with friends or grab a quick meal after a long day, today’s consumers expect more than just the same old restaurant experience,” said Robert Atkins, managing partner of Atkins Cos. “When we began this project, we knew that attracting unique retail tenants would be vital in creating the dynamic community that we wanted to build in Washington Township. Jenaro’s and Bison Coffee Co. certainly fit the bill and we look forward to welcoming them to Washington Square Town Center as we continue to realize our vision for this project.”
Jenaro’s and Bison Coffee Co. will join Washington Square Town Center’s current slate of retail tenants – PetCheck, an animal urgent care facility; Vivian’s Nails N’ Spa; and Strive Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation, a South Jersey-based physical therapy company.
