Organizers of the 2022 Meet AC Atlantic City Airshow on Aug. 16 unveiled the full performance schedule for this year’s event.

The world’s premier midweek beachfront airshow – it draws more than 500,000 spectators annually – The Atlantic City Airshow is presented by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, Meet AC and David Schultz Airshows and is scheduled to lift off above Atlantic City’s beaches on Aug. 24 starting at 11 a.m.

This year’s lineup is a star-studded one, featuring the return of major military acts like the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds, and the long-awaited reappearance of the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet “Rhino” East Coast Demo Team. Civilian acts scheduled to perform include Chris Thomas Airshows, Paul Dougherty Airshows, Full Throttle Formation Team, and Jim Beasley.

“This year’s line-up of performers is second to none,” said Michael Chait, Greater Atlantic City Chamber president and organizer of this year’s Airshow. “You have both military and civilian acts that are among the best in the country soaring to our beaches right here in the Garden State.”

The free event will also offer a variety of onsite vendors along the Boardwalk as well as the return of Veterans Resource Row. Presented by Bank of America, it is a one-stop-shop with more than a dozen veteran resource organizations and entities that offers face-to-face interactions with representatives and and ability to receive information on services, support and job opportunities.

“Marquee events like the Atlantic City Airshow help drive economic development by drawing thousands of spectators to the city,” said Jim Dever, president, Bank of America Greater Philadelphia. “The Airshow’s Veteran Resources Row is a great opportunity to connect veterans with organizations that can provide important resources.”

The Airshow’s Practice Day is set for Aug. 23. Beginning at 11 a.m., it offers an opportunity for anyone unable to attend the actual event to watch the performers take to the sky.

“We promise that this will be our best show to date,” Chait added.
