AtlantiCare acquires Cape May urgent care facility

AtlantiCare, a member of Geisinger, has announced its intent to acquire Cape Urgent Care in Cape May.AtlantiCare, a member of Geisinger, has announced its intent to acquire Cape Urgent Care in Cape May.

Cape Urgent Care will operate under the name AtlantiCare Urgent Care Center after the acquisition closes on June 1. It will become part of AtlantiCare’s network of 13 urgent care facilities scattered throughout the state.

AtlantiCare will also transfer urgent care patients at its Rio Grande location to the Cape May facility after June 1. The Rio Grande facility will continue to provide primary and specialty care, as well as lab services.
