Listen to this articleWomen’s clothing store Avenue has announced its going-out-of-business sale after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Aug. 16.
Avenue customers nationwide will save 40 to 60 percent on all merchandise, including all styles and brands. Store fixtures are also being sold as part of the closing sale.
The going-out-of-business sale has been orchestrated by Boston-based investment company Gordon Brothers and Illinois-based retail strategist Hilco Merchant Resources.
The retailer has been headquartered in Rochelle Park since its inception in 1983. All 222 Avenue locations are expected to close by the end of September.
Sales start Thursday.
