The New Jersey office for Avison Young said Tuesday it was named the exclusive leasing agent for 194 Wood Ave. S., a 452,133-square-foot, Class-A trophy office building in Iselin.
An Avison Young team led by Principal and Managing Director Jeff Heller, Principal Bill McCaffrey and Associate Evan Bernard are marketing leasing opportunities at the property on behalf of Liberty Properties LLC, an operating division of Opal Holdings, the new owner of the asset.
Avison Young successfully worked together with Liberty Properties on a previous project known as Park Avenue at Morris County—a 1.16 million-square-foot trophy office campus.
“We are thrilled to be working with Liberty Properties again, this time representing a remarkable office asset in MetroPark,” said Heller. “194 Wood Ave. S. is a great option for a variety of businesses in New Jersey with its centralized location and extensive amenities package.”
The nine-story office building is part of the Metropark Corporate Center and is currently 95 percent leased. The property offers various tenant amenities including a food court as well as a daycare onsite, a parking deck and year-round security.

The building is located at the confluence of major highways and mass transportation, directly off the Garden State Parkway and minutes away from other highways including Routes 1 and 9, Interstate 287, and the New Jersey Turnpike. Metropark is one of only three markets in New Jersey that offers mass transportation within walking distance.
