Bancroft, a Cherry Hill-based support provider for people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and brain injuries, is hiring more than 400 permanent full-time and part-time positions throughout the region.
Most of the jobs will be New Jersey based, with some in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
“These are not temporary positions; we are looking for caring, compassionate candidates who have found themselves out of work and are ready to explore a new career where they can truly make an impact,” said Jonathan Lutz, Bancroft director of talent acquisition in a statement.
A variety of shifts are available, and benefits include tuition repayment and reimbursement.
“Jobs in health care and human services are among the fastest-growing professions in the country—but they’re also among the most secure and sustainable,” Lutz said in a statement. “As essential employees, they remain in high demand, especially in times of crisis.”
Most openings are in direct support, providing one-on-one care to men, women and children with disabilities who live in Bancroft residential programs. Experience is not required and training is provided, though according to a company announcement, patience and compassion are essential qualities.
Bancroft is conducting phone interviews. Applicants may apply online.
