MarltonÂs Susquehanna Patriot Bank, a subsidiary of Susquehanna Bancshares in Lititz, Pa., today said it had made a $20,000 donation to The Enterprise Center, a Philadelphia-based organization that supports minority entrepreneurs. The donation will help in the planning and developmentMarltonÂs Susquehanna Patriot Bank, a subsidiary of Susquehanna Bancshares (Nasdaq: SUSQ) in Lititz, Pa., today said it had made a $20,000 donation to The Enterprise Center, a Philadelphia-based organization that supports minority entrepreneurs. The donation will help in the planning and development of Prudent Funds, a for-profit lending consortium to provide mezzanine financing as expansion capital to small businesses, says the bank.
The Enterprise Center was founded in 1989 by the Wharton Small Business Development Center based in The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. It operates the Pennsylvania Minority Business Enterprise Center, which is funded through the U.S. Department of Commerce.
