Baroni, Kelly guilty on all counts in Bridgegate trial

Bill Baroni and Bridget Anne Kelly were found guilty of all charges in the Bridgegate conspiracy case Friday.According to multiple published reports, Baroni, former deputy executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Kelly, former deputy chief of staff to Gov. Chris Christie, were each convicted of seven counts tied to massive traffic gridlock in Fort Lee near the George Washington Bridge back in 2013.

The two, along with former Port Authority executive David Wildstein, who pleaded guilty and testified against them, were accused of orchestrating the massive tie-ups as political retaliation for Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich’s refusal to endorse Christie’s re-election bid.
