BD gets approval for generic injectable drugs

Franklin Lakes-based medical technology company BD announced today the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved its first drug to be offered in the just-launched BD Simplist line of prefilled generic injectables.According to BD, Simplist products will be commercialized and manufactured by BD Rx Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The first product BD Rx will launch is an injectable antihistamine.
