Somerset Development on Jan. 27  announced the grand opening of the new health and wellness complex at Bell Works, featuring a network of innovative health care and wellness services, open to the Bell Works community and surrounding residents.

Located along The Block at Bell Works in Holmdel — the metroburb’s ground-floor ‘pedestrian street’ that offers a unique selection of shops, restaurants, community services, entertainment, and now health care — the health and wellness complex features a mix of physicians and health care providers that will operate through several new entities: BellHealth, Bell Wellness and The Pharmacy at Bell Works. This hand-selected network of providers, which will utilize innovative technology including a customized treatment app, will be joined by Iorio Plastic Surgery and Medspa as the core health care offerings available at Bell Works.

“When we first envisioned Bell Works as a self-contained metropolis in suburbia, we knew that healthcare was a critical service need for our community – a belief that has only been accelerated by the pandemic,” said Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development. “The opening of this complex will allow us to successfully meet a wide variety of the health and wellness needs within Bell Works and the surrounding region, particularly at a time when there is an incredibly important focus on individual health and safety. I’m excited to welcome each of these expert providers as the newest members of our metroburb family, and as extraordinary additions to The Block at Bell Works.”

The grand opening of the new facilities was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 27th. The ceremony was attended by local dignitaries including New Jersey General Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso; Jo Schloeder, deputy chief of staff for U.S. House Representative Chris Smith; and Holmdel Mayor Gregory Buontempo, who announced Jan. 27th as the official Holmdel Bell Health Day.

BellHeath, which will be operating out of an approximately 2,200-square-foot space, will offer a range of services and specialties including primary care, dermatology, podiatry, psychology, orthopedics and neurosurgery. The company will also offer urgent care via Immediate Care, which was recently ranked as the top ‘Urgent Care’ provider in Monmouth County by Monmouth Health and Life Magazine.
