Just one company from the Garden State appeared on the 2020 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology list from Arizent and Best Companies Group, and it did so for the third year in a row.
Fort Lee-based Cross River Bank came in at No. 33 on the list of companies, published this week by Arizent brands American Banker, National Mortgage News, PaymentSource, Financial Planning and Digital Insurance.
In a statement, Arizent Group Editorial Director Richard Melville said that the Best Places to Work program recognizes financial technology companies that are setting standards for cultures that allow people to thrive.
“Our employees are the lifeblood of Cross River, and the reason we are able to provide breakthrough innovations and leading financial services solutions,” said Cross River Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Phil Goldfeder in a prepared statement. “We foster an environment and culture that focuses on teamwork, humility and the growth of every employee.”
The news follows Cross River’s recognition as Technology Company of the Year by NJ Tech Council, which honored the company for its long-term growth, profitability and impact on the industry at its annual awards in November 2019.
“While many banks accept the status quo, Cross River is reinventing the industry,” NJ Tech Council President and Chief Executive Officer Aaron Price said in a statement.
Best Companies Group and NJBIZ are both part of BridgeTower Media.
