According to Bierman’s website, 77% of the centers’ graduates continue to a general education, general education with support or an inclusion classroom setting. To date, more than 150 children have graduated from Bierman Autism Centers.

“I am excited that Bierman is opening a third location in New Jersey. We can continue our mission to create progress and possibilities for children diagnosed with autism in New Jersey,” Bierman Chief Clinical Officer Christina Barosky said in a statement. “Many excellent clinicians in the area will help us continue to provide the highest quality of care.”

According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 35 8-year-olds in New Jersey, or 2.8%, was identified with autism spectrum disorder in 2018. This was the highest proportion of this age group than other area in the U.S. where CDC tracked ASD that year.
