Kelli Negro has joined Billtrust and will put her more than 25 years of experience to work on the company’s European expansion.
On Nov. 16, Billtrust announced Negro would become as chief marketing officer. Her appointment comes about a month after the company’s $58 million acquisition of Belgium-based iController, a B2B collections management provider.
“I am proud to welcome Kelli to our executive team,” said President Steve Pinado. “I am confident that her expertise in creating powerful brands, driving demand and leading impactful marketing teams within successful SaaS businesses will deliver strong results for Billtrust. Kelli will help us accelerate and expand our organic growth while building on our already strong foundation.”
According to the Lawrenceville-based company, Negro has a track record of driving growth for leading fintech and software companies. Most recently, she served as CMO at Vendavo. She has also held the chief marketing role for Miratech and ThinkSmart, in addition to other leadership roles in the field at Voxeet, Charles Schwab and Financial Engines.
“Billtrust is known for its exceptional commitment to its customers, best-in-class technology and unparalleled brand reputation,” said Negro. “It’s exciting to be joining the Billtrust team during such a period of innovation and expansion. I look forward to building on Billtrust’s success and continuing to drive growth while leading such an accomplished marketing team.”
