Billtrust names new officers to its executive ranks

Billtrust, a Hamilton-based payment cycle manager, announced Monday that it has added two new members to its executive team.Neil Singer has been appointed to chief information office and Susan J. McKenna has been named chief marketing officer.

“We are excited to have new leadership on board at this time of notable growth for Billtrust.  Neil and Susan are the kind of talented professionals who will keep us innovative in both technology and growth strategies. I welcome them both and look forward to working closely with them,” Flint Lane, Billtrust CEO, said in a prepared statement.

Singer, who has 30 years of experience, will be responsible for driving Billtrust’s business expansion to meet existing customer demands. Prior to Billtrust, he was chief information officer for Allconnect. He’s also served as CIO for startups, midsized companies and divisions of Fortune 500 companies including Cendant and General Electric.

McKenna, who has 25 years of experience in software and services, will help execute programs to support the company’s growth goals. She’s held executive rols at Revitas, IBM, Strategic Management Group and Deloitte Consulting.

“Over the past three years, Billtrust has grown 137 percent,” Lane said in a prepared statement. “We plan to continue along this trajectory and are putting the right team in place to ensure continued success.”  In addition to bringing new executive talent to the team, Billtrust has recently celebrated being named to the NJBIZ 50 Fastest Growing Companies list.
