“This exciting new blog will be a great resource for emerging companies, with valuable tools, case studies and best practices,” BioNJ President and CEO Debbie Hart said in a statement. “We thank Verve Group Consulting for its partnership in helping us launch it.”
BioNJ focuses on stimulating and supporting the life sciences industry, improving and saving lives, and lowering the hurdles of health care advancements for society. Verve Group Consulting provides cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, and regulatory consulting services to pre-revenue and other growing life sciences companies.
Verve also sponsored BioNJ’s 2022 IT/Cybersecurity Awareness Newsletter Series. That series provides resources, best practices and overall risk management strategies related to data protection and cyberattack avoidance.
“In addition to our work with BioNJ’s IT/Cybersecurity Awareness Committee, we see the 2023 Emerging Company Spotlight Blog Series as a great way to promote the people, purpose, and passion behind the growing number of innovative life sciences companies that call New Jersey home,” said Verve co-founder and Managing Director Larry Samilow. “In an effort to foster collaboration and community, the blog will feature interviews with founders, executives, and investors sharing successes and experiences.”
In December, BioNJ said it hired Pavita Howe as vice president, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, effective Dec. 19. In addition, the organization promoted several executives to new roles.
