BlackStratus forges distribution agreement with Tech Data

BlackStratus, a provider of cloud-based security and compliance technology, Monday announced an exclusive agreement with Tech Data Corp., a distributor of technology products and services.Under this agreement, Tech Data will deliver Piscataway-based BlackStratus’ cloud-based security information event management service, CYBERShark, to its network of solution providers in the United States.

Tracy Holtz, director of product marketing and security and information management at Tech Data, said this agreement will help its small, medium and large company clients to address the mounting challenges of cybersecurity.

“Our agreement with BlackStratus gives Tech Data the ability to offer security as a service to our solution providers and help them reduce risk, manage compliance and remediate threats for their clients,” she said. “We are excited to add BlackStratus to Tech Data’s portfolio of industry-leading security solutions and look forward to bringing SIEM capabilities to our SMB and mid-market partners.”

Dale Cline, CEO of BlackStratus, said these issues are more pressing than ever.
