Blairstown second gen. outdoors, hardware company sold

Larry Bodner, president of Union-based Executive Business Brokers, announced Friday the sale of North Warren Farm & Home/True Value, a second generation owned and operated retail lawn, garden, feed and hardware company, to Schone Family Holdings LLC.The Blairstown-based company, which was founded in the 1960s, operates out of two buildings totaling 10,000 square feet.

Wells Fargo Bank funded the transaction for Ronald Schone, the new owner. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bodner said in a news release that Schone plans to keep the company a family-based business and expand its product lines and services.
