Blo Blow Dry Bar inked a two-unit franchise agreement in Morristown, building the chain’s New Jersey presence to six locations.

The blow dry franchise plans to build its New Jersey roster to 20 locations over the next five years, the company said April 28. The Morristown locations will open in the fourth quarter of 2021 and late 2022 or early 2023, respectively.

“I have a business background and I absolutely love fashion, hair and make-up,” said, new franchisee Alichia Pourreza, who will open the locations with her husband Shar. “After we sold our family business, I was looking for new opportunities. I visited a Blo Blow Dry Bar in New Jersey and fell in love with everything about the company and about the blow out process. I always had a goal to return to work after my children were born and knew my career path would eventually lead me to the beauty industry. Blo Blow Dry Bar is a small business backed by immense corporate support that I can run and feel comfortable and confident doing so on my own.”

The company said it’s seeking franchisees throughout the state, including in Cherry Hill, Edison, Fairlawn, Middletown, New Brunswick and Princeton.

“New Jersey is ripe for growth within the blow dry bar space,” said Vice President of Franchise Development Patrick Pantano in a prepared statement. “The demographics and high population density of the area will allow us to expand our footprint on the East Coast. We are thrilled to welcome Shar and Alichia to the Blo Blow Dry Bar franchise family and are looking forward to their continued growth and the incredible impact they’ll make in their community.”
