Vincent Micco was announced as executive vice president, chief lending officer by Rutherford-based Blue Foundry Bank on Thursday.
In the new position, Micco will oversee the commercial and residential lending departments, grow the bank’s loan portfolio and promote business relationships. He comes to Blue Foundry following 15 years at Kearny Bank where he served as director of commercial lending. There, the department’s commercial real estate portfolio experienced double digit growth year over year, according to Blue Foundry.
“Vince is a motivational team leader with extensive industry knowledge and key, results-oriented experience,” James Nesci, chief executive officer and president of Blue Foundry Bank, said in a prepared statement. “His addition to our team ensures that the bank’s bold vision for loan portfolio growth will be achieved.”
Micco is a past president of the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, and currently sits on the board of advisors of the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, Blue Foundry said. He is a decorated officer in the U.S. Army and was twice deployed to Iraq.
