It’s been a quarter century of success, but Bobbi Brown has announced she is leaving the brand that bears her own name.Brown said the decision was made to allow her to explore the next step in her career.
“The brand’s 25-year anniversary was a wonderful milestone that made me realize it was time to start a new chapter and move on to new ventures,” she said. “I am thankful for the extraordinary people that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years and proud of the creative endeavors and innovative products we’ve created together. I am also incredibly grateful to The Estée Lauder Companies and the Lauder family for the many opportunities they gave me. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
In a prepared statement, the Estée Lauder Companies said it is “grateful for and proud of the transformative role Bobbi has played at the brand, at the company, and within global prestige beauty.”

The company said that Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will continue to capitalize on the growth momentum in the prestige makeup category, building on the legacy Brown created.
“The brand’s philosophy of ‘Be Who You Are’ is more relevant today than ever before and the brand will laser focus on connecting, teaching and empowering women globally,” it said.
