Off-price apparel retailer Burlington Stores Inc. on Tuesday announced the appointment of John Crimmins as chief financial officer.
Crimmins – who adds the role to his position as executive vice president, finance and chief accounting officer – has served as interim CFO since Sept. 16, 2019.
“Given John’s financial acumen, expertise, and tenure with Burlington Stores, he is the natural choice to serve as CFO,” Chief Executive Officer Michael O’Sullivan said in a prepared statement. “John is an exceptionally talented and well respected leader and we are confident he will continue to play a key role as we drive growth and profitability at Burlington Stores.”
According to the Burlington-based company, Crimmins held positions including CFO, corporate controller and chief accounting officer for The Timberland Co. from 2002 to 2009. He joined Burlington Stores in 2011.
