Business Unit Sold

Around the State – North JerseyMOUNTAIN LAKES Information technology-services company Computer Horizons is selling its Chimes business unit to AXIUM International for $80 million. The deal price excludes Chimes’ operating cash and marketable securities. Computer Horizons’ board of directors has unanimously approved the sale, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2007. AXIUM operates a subsidiary, Ensemble Workforce Solutions, which provides work force automation solutions and financial tools for contingent-labor management. Chimes, which provides companies with work force procurement and vendor-management services, will probably be aligned with that unit.

Computer Horizons shares were trading at around $4.15 late last week with a 52-week range of $3.49 to $5.50.
