Around the State – Central JerseyBASKING RIDGE Avaya, a Basking Ridge-based telecom company, has won top honors from JPMorgan Chase for its part in keeping the financial services giant commun- icating smoothly.

Every year JPMorgan Chase employees score companies they do business with and honor the best with a ÂSupplier of the YearÂ award, says Avaya spokesperson Deb Kline. The scores rate value, ingenuity and ethics.

Of the eight companies that were honored, Kline says Avaya had the highest score. ÂYou always like to hear good things from your customers and by no means do we underestimate the significance of this award,Â she says. ÂWhen they say the award is given to the best of the best, itÂs really a great compliment.Â
