Camden Community Partnership launched a redesigned website last week, as CCP marks its 40th anniversary serving the City of and facilitating its revival.

The organization says the redesign offers a modern, fresh and vibrant look that will provide a more user-friendly experience. It also incorporates a new logo to recognize the anniversary.

CCP stresses how important a website is for an organization’s first impression and setting the tone. The group notes that the redesigned website provides information on its various economic development projects and civic engagement initiatives as well as serves as a marketing tool to promote Camden as a place where a company would want to move to or expand its business.

Dana Redd, former Camden mayor and president and CEO of CCP, pointed to the organization’s reputation. She said the group has offered exceptional services, innovative programs, and a forward-thinking approach to enhancing the city’s economic development opportunities over the last four decades.

“With our recent expansion into neighborhood revitalization and the promotion of Camden as a dynamic destination for residents, workers, and visitors, it was essential for our website to mirror these advancements,” said Redd. “The updated layout and content on our new website provides valuable resources and information to showcase the impactful work led by CCP along with our governmental, corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit partners.”

Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen, who also serves as CCP co-chair, nodded to the 40th anniversary. He described it as a significant milestone for the organization.

“The website upgrade highlights how CCP’s roots run deep in Camden while also demonstrating that our core mission remains as true as it did when it all started in 1984 – to serve as a catalyst for the preservation and growth of a vibrant Camden,” said Carstarphen. “We are proud of CCP’s role in Camden’s resurgence and look forward to many more years of progress.”

“In today’s digital world, it is vital to have a website that is up-to-date and easy to navigate,” said Mark McDonough, president of Camden-headquartered New Jersey American Water and CCP co-chair. “A user-friendly website is the most efficient way of getting information to residents and business owners, and it provides us with a platform to showcase Camden. We want developers and businesses to know that Camden has plenty to offer – and the new website is a great marketing tool for the city.”

Hopeworks developed and created the redesigned website with direct input and ideas from the CCP staff. You can view the redesigned CCP website here.
