Cantel Medical acquires Siemens business unit

Little Falls-based Cantel Medical Corp., through a subsidiary, announced today the acquisition of the hemodialysis water business from Siemens’ Water Technologies.The move is part of Cantel’s expansion of its water purification and filtration unit. According to an announcement, the deal brings Cantel subsidiary Mar Cor Purifications approximately 600 dialysis customers in the United States and Canada, and 2012 revenue of approximately $9 million. Terms were not disclosed.
