Capsugel acquires Scottish drug delivery company

Morristown-based Capsugel today announced that it has acquired Encap Drug Delivery, of Livingston, Scotland.According to a news release, Encap’s focus on liquid and semi-solid encapsulation-based product development — as well as its clinical and commercial manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry — complements Capsugel’s recently established Dosage Form Solutions business unit, which develops and manufactures products for the healthcare industry.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
