CBRE on Wednesday said it arranged two new office leases in Florham Park.

International export company Hockman-Lewis inked a 4,600-square-foot lease, while the law firm of Bakos & Kritzer committed to a 1,600-square-foot office lease.

Eastman Cos. Director of Leasing Eric Maurer, in partnership with the CBRE team of Jonathan Meisel, Dan Casey and Erin Wenzler, represented ownership, Eastman Cos., in the negotiations.

“While just a handful of new office leases were consummated since March, our team was able to work with our client to get these deals across the finish line,” said Meisel. “In spite of the challenges due to the pandemic and statewide shutdown, Eastman Cos. and CBRE worked closely with the tenants to ensure the lease transactions met all parties’ requirements.”

The property at 23 Vreeland Road – dubbed the “coolest little building you didn’t know about” – is a 69,000-square-foot, two-story office building strategically situated just off Columbia Turnpike. It was remodeled in 2019 to include a new tenant lounge, café, conference center, lobby, electric car chargers that are free to users, and a second floor common area.

The building offers easy access to Route 24, Interstates 287 and 78 and the Garden State Parkway.

Hockman-Lewis was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Dylan Tusinac and David DeMatteis, while Bakos & Kritzer was self-represented.
