CBRE said June 17 it completed the two final retail leases at Greenleaf at Union, a 110,000-square-foot retail center anchored by LA Fitness and Bob’s Discount Furniture, located at 1235 W. Chestnut St. at Route 22 in Union Township.

Phenix Salon Suites committed to 12,674 square feet, while Mike’s Pizza inked a lease for 1,980 square feet, bringing the redeveloped center to 100% occupancy.

The CBRE team of Steven Winters and Michael Horne spearheaded the leasing campaign at the shopping center and negotiated the lease transactions on behalf of ownership, Sun Equity Partners.

“Greenleaf at Union is a well located, multi-tenant center along the vibrant Route 22 corridor and we were fortunate to represent Sun Equity Partners and the center’s redevelopment,” said Horne. “Working closely with ownership, we secured a great lineup of top tier retailers that now bring this shopping center to full occupancy.”

“Michael and Steven did a tremendous job leasing Greenleaf at Union and were able to bring the center to 100% occupancy again after losing two tenants during the pandemic,” said Sun Equity’s managing partner. “It didn’t take them long during this difficult environment to fill these two recently created vacancies. We look forward to working with their team again soon.”

Phenix Salon Suites and Mike’s Pizza join First Watch, Sleep Number, Firehouse Subs, Dogtopia, The Work Store, Red Wing Shoe’s and Kinder Pediatric Urgent Care, complementing the tenant mix at the shopping center.

Greenleaf at Union boasts excellent visibility to Route 22 traffic, which exceeds 85,000 cars per day, in combination with a population density of 163,752 within 3 miles, making it one of the most highly sought-after shopping destinations in New Jersey.
