Residential leasing launched for Landmark ‘s Centurion Union Center in September. In October, Unity Bank cut the ribbon on its expanded branch at the luxury mixed-use building. Now, the retail roster is even more robust, with six new tenants coming on board.
On Dec. 2, Landmark announced a mix of local businesses will join the building at 945 Stuyvesant Ave. in Union, making its retail component fully leased.
“Many of these retailers are staples of downtown Union that have been operating in aging retail space adjacent to Centurion Union Center,” said Landmark founder Manny Fernandez. “We look forward to welcoming all these retailers to Centurion and are confident they’ve found a home where they flourish in a reimagined Union Center.”
Angie Lee, the owner of Angie’s Nails, agreed with that sentiment.
“Centurion Union Center provided the opportunity to significantly upgrade our space, while maintaining a location that our customer base is already familiar with,” Lee said. “At Centurion, we will be well positioned to not only better serve our existing clients, but also grow our business by relocating to a residential building with direct access to a large pool of potential new customers. It’s a great building and we are delighted to unveil our new salon.”
Union Township has designated Landmark the developer of the Stuyvesant Avenue Redevelopment Project. When it’s completed, Union Center will boast nearly 300 homes in four buildings with approximately 27,000 square feet of retail space.
According to Landmark, phase two of Centurion Union Center is quickly approaching lease up. The onsite Leasing Center is located at 945 Stuyvesant Ave.; The Marketing Directors is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.
