Gillston will now oversee field operations for the Whitehouse Station company’s global casualty and multinational businesses and will report to Lou Capparelli, executive vice president of Chubb’s global casualty unit.
Gillston will continue serving as the head of Chubb’s private equity practice and will remain based in New York.
Additionally, Bill Hazelton was appointed to a new role focused on key strategic initiatives in Chubb’s North America businesses and will report to to John Lupica, vice chairman of Chubb Group and president of North America insurance. He will also assume leadership of Chubb’s real estate and hospitality practice. Hazelton will remain based in Whitehouse Station.

Bill’s extensive knowledge about the industry and our business is ideal for meeting the complex needs of our clients and distribution partners. His background will enable him to effectively deliver Chubb’s full suite of specialized offerings.”
Gillston and Hazelton are both Chubb veterans, joining the company in 2000 and 2005 respectively. Both have held leadership roles within the company.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
