Bedminster-based solar energy company CI Renewables LLC purchased KDC Solar LLC from Diamond Castle Holdings LLC and members of management of KDC Solar LLC.
The sale was effective January 2020, but its announcement was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and “the need to focus on finalizing the development of solar projects in Maryland, California and Virginia,” the company said June 14.
CI Renewables will continue to pursue the development of commercial and industrial solar projects in various states throughout the country, including in Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey.
Alan Epstein, who served as president of KDC Solar for nearly a decade, now serves CI Renewables as president. Thomas Lynch, who served as KDC Solar’s chief operating officer and executive vice president, now serves CI Renewables as executive vice president.
CI Renewables is will continue to be headquartered at 1420 U.S. Route 206, Suite 120 in Bedminster.
