What you do: I practice law in the areas of equipment leasing and asset-based lending, including drafting documentation for leases and loan agreements for assets ranging from machinery to railcars and vehicles. Included in this work is advising corporations, creditors and lessors on equipment-related litigation and bankruptcy matters. It’s very exciting to join a collaborative firm like CSG, where I’ll be able to create synergies with colleagues in other practice areas and provide the best possible service to my clients.

Old gig: I was the founding member of Peretore & Peretore, the firm I founded in 1990 along with my wife, Janis.

School ties: I received my J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and as an undergrad I majored in economics at SUNY Oneonta.

Family tree: My father was a professional photographer, and while he lived most of his life in New York, he spent a good part of his childhood in the Oranges, so to some extent I feel right at home here.

Hometown: Deer Park, New York

JUST JERSEY

When you brag about Jersey to people from out of state, you say: New Jersey has a little bit of everything. Whether you like the beach, mountains, rolling hills or the countryside, you can find it all in the Garden State. I even have a friend with a vineyard.

Bruce, Bon Jovi, Whitney or Sinatra: Bruce

Favorite place to chow down: Casa Bella in Denville. Nothing beats its Chilean sea bass.

ALL YOU

What you wanted to be when you were 6: An entrepreneur. By 10, I had my own Italian ice cart, selling Italian ices at baseball games in a nearby ballfield.

Dream vacation: I’ve always dreamed of driving cross-country in an RV. (Now, I just have to convince my wife.)

Your passion: I love traveling, reading (especially history and science) and writing. I’ve published two legal books on equipment leasing and secured transactions. I also enjoy shooting sporting clays.
