Position: President, CEO and chairman, T&M Associates
Key role: Responsibility to lead the T&M team to provide our clients with professional services that exceed their expectations; provide our staff with a rewarding, stable work environment and an opportunity to advance professionally; and instill in our staff a commitment to the profession to maintain a reputation for excellence and execution of our assignments consistent with high professional, environmental, ethical and socially responsible standards.
Goals: Commitment to continued growth and reasonable profitability by expanding both our market sector and geographic footprint while maintaining our core corporate values to both our clients and our staff.
Previous jobs: I spent five years with A G Lichtenstein before coming to T&M Associates. In my 27 years at T&M, I’ve worked in most of the divisions, eventually heading up the real estate development division, prior to serving as chief operating officer and now CEO.
Key strengths: Building relationships, building a talented team and providing sensible leadership.
Career high: There have been several along the way. I was named a T&M shareholder in 1994, got on the board of directors in 2002 — and, of course, my current position.
Next: Continue to implement our somewhat aggressive strategic plan and see T&M transform from its historic local municipal firm reputation to a national, full-service multidiscipline consulting firm.
Challenges: Meeting our objectives and goals in a still somewhat sluggish economy.
After hours: Golf; family and friends; Giants, Devils and Yankees games.
