Cognizant entered an agreement to acquire Lev Digital, an Indianapolis-based digital marketing consultancy that helps businesses utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to provide data insight and ultimately drive revenue for customers.
The acquisition, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020 subject to satisfaction of certain closing conditions, will further expand the Teaneck firm’s Salesforce practice.
Lev specializes in custom cloud solutions that equip marketers to use automation, personal preferences and data to forge stronger customer connections through personalized experiences.
The company provides strategic consulting, architecture design, technical optimization and application integration services for clients including major brands in health care, life sciences, entertainment, technology, utilities, financial services, and education.

“Lev is Cognizant’s third cloud-related acquisition announced in 2020. It will expand Cognizant’s consulting capabilities to help marketers implement Marketing Cloud, personalize customer connections and, in turn, generate better leads. Coupling this with our deep Salesforce quote-to-cash expertise, we will enable clients to effectively use the cloud to transform their critical lead-to-cash processes,” Hyttenrauch said.
