Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC opened a new office on the 21st floor of One Newark Center in Newark.
The new office houses the firm’s construction group in New Jersey, comprised of four attorneys and an administrative assistant.
Partner Michael McKenna will lead the office.
“Cohen Seglias is one of the largest construction-focused practices in the country, and it continues to be extremely rewarding for me to work alongside my colleagues in support of many significant construction projects,” McKenna said in a statement. “Our office in Newark is a great location for our clients with legal needs relative to all phases of construction projects, including day-to-day business matters along with disputes and litigation. I look forward to continuing to grow the office and the firm in New Jersey.”
Cohen Seglias represents over 1,000 clients on a variety of construction projects including bridges, water treatment plants, highways, major office buildings, stadiums, hospitals, condominiums, government buildings and airports.
The new office is a modern space that is more accessible to the firm’s clients in and around New Jersey and accessible to the Amtrak corridor, according to Managing Partner George Pallas. Previously, the construction group worked out of an office at 17 Academy St. in Newark.
