Hackensack attorney Warren Usatine has been elected co-managing shareholder at national law firm Cole Schotz PC.
Usatine will work alongside co-managing shareholders Samuel Weiner and Michael Sirota, effective immediately.
“Cole Schotz has long benefitted from Warren’s passion for the firm, talent, experience and character,” said Sirota, who is also co-chair of the firm’s bankruptcy and corporate restructuring department. “This new role will only serve to advance the success of our firm and, most importantly, the clients we serve.”
Usatine has been a shareholder at the firm, which has 149 attorneys throughout offices in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas and Florida, since 2004. He is also co-chair of the firm’s litigation department and a member in the bankruptcy and corporate restructuring department.
He’s lectured on various aspects of bankruptcy law as part of New Jersey’s Institute for Continuing Legal Education and has served as a panelist in the annual William H. Gindin Bankruptcy Bench Bar Conference.
Usatine is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
