The Atlantic County Improvement Authority broke ground in May 2017 for the 66,000-square-foot facility, which will be home to a 7,000-square-foot Federal Aviation Administration laboratory.
“The Stockton Aviation Research and Technology Park is an exciting project,” Tony DiDio of Colliers’ Mount Laurel office, who will market the property on behalf of the SARTP board, said. “After a decade of planning, it arrives at a crucial time for Atlantic County. The park will be instrumental in developing an aviation industry and ensuring a healthy economic future. The park’s affiliation with FAA vendors and companies they attract will help create high-paying, quality jobs.”
DiDio will manage the assignment alongside Evan Zweben and Joe Fetterman.
The Research and Technology Park is part of a 58-acre campus adjacent to the William J. Hughes Technical Center and the Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor.
Colliers said the opportunities at the facility include “aviation and aviation-related companies to work closely with the FAA, academic institutions and industry peers on the commercialization of next-gen technology and other technologies,” as well as “the opportunity to participate in federally and/or privately funded research which facilitates technology commercialization.”
