Columbia Bank is now serving customers in Ramsey.
On Tuesday, Fair Lawn-based Columbia Bank announced the opening of its 52nd branch at 161 E. Main St.
According to the financial institution, Lindsey Kristoff serves as manager for the full-service location which was designed to enhance the customer experience with new banking technology and a modern design.
The Ramsey office features a video message screen, digital rate display, an “Intelligent ATM,” private conference areas and a coin counter.
“We look forward to bringing full-service personal and business banking to Ramsey and its surrounding communities,” Columbia Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Kemly said in a prepared statement. “Columbia prides itself on offering an impressive selection of convenient, value-added banking services…from checking and savings accounts…to commercial and SBA loans, lines of credit and business banking services designed to help any business grow.”
To celebrate the grand opening, Columbia Bank is offering promotions for Certificates of Deposit, checking accounts with high yields or free streaming subscriptions, and a Home Equity Line of Credit.
To support its new community, the bank said new accounts opened before the end of year that meet deposit requirements will prompt a donation of $10 from Columbia to one of four local organizations – Ramsey Relay for Life, Ramsey Rescue Squad, Ramsey Responds and the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department. The three groups to receive the most designated donations will also get bonuses of $2,500, $1,000 or $500, depending on vote totals, Columbia said.
According to Columbia Bank, the institution has an asset base of more than $7 billion.
