Ranga Rajagopalan will serve as the new vice president of Product Management for Commvault.
The data management and recovery company, based in Tinton Falls, announced Rajagopalan’s appointment on July 25; he will report to Chief Product Officer Rajiv Kottomtharayil.
In the new position, Rajagopalan will be responsible for managing end-to-end software design services for Commvault’s data management and protection products including Complete Backup and Recovery, Commvault HyperScale, Commvault Orchestrate and Commvault Activate.
“With deep experience leading product management and engineering teams across the entire lifecycle of data protection and disaster recovery products, Ranga is the ideal person to head our product teams through our ongoing transformation to hybrid cloud solutions,” Kottomtharayil said in a prepared statement.
